PURPOSE: To obtain an adhesive composition which comprises a combination of a phosphorus stabilizer of a specific chemical structure and a phenolic stabilizer showing excellent stabilization effect for physical properties because it resists thermal discoloration, for example, minimizes the discoloration during hot-melt kneading or storage under elevated temperature conditions.
CONSTITUTION: The object composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a block copolymer from the vinyl aromatic polymer block and a conjugated diene polymer block both of which are connected to each other through a halogen- containing coupling agent, (B) 40 to 300 pts.wt. of a tackifying resin, (C) 5 to 200 pts.wt. of a softening agent as well as (i) at least one of phosphorus stabilizer of formula I to formula III [R1 is a 8-18C alkyl; R2 is H, formula IV (R3-R4 are H, a 1-6C alkyl); R7 is a-9C alkyl; R8-R11 are H, a 1-6C alkyl] and (ii) a phenolic stabilizer at a weight ratio satisfying 0.5≤(components i + ii)≤10 in an amount of 0.3 to 5 pts.wt. in total.
