Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily manufacture a hot melt adhesive excellent in adhesion to non-polar support body, damp proofing property, and aging resistance without forming a mass in a low shearing sigma blade mixture by containing a copolymer of ethylene and a specified α-olefin and a tackifier as essential components.

CONSTITUTION: This hot melt adhesive is formed of an adhesive mixture consisting of a copolymer of ethylene and one or more α-C3-6 olefins having a density of 0.91g/cm3 wherein the constituting component of the copolymer resulted from α-C3-6 olefin is preferably 5-50wt.% on the basis of the weight of the copolymer; and one or more ester gum (e.g.: glyceline rosin, and preferably containing a tackifier in a quantity of 5-60wt.% to the adhesive mixture.
