To develop a hot melt component which has a superior thermal stability and an improved heat-resistant tackiness in using for hot-melt type paint, printing ink, adhesives or sealant.
The hot melt component is constituted of; (a) an ethylene-based copolymer resin, (b) (1) components, capable of being polymerized, of pyrolysis oil fraction that can be secured by thermal decomposition of a petroleum hydrocarbon having vinyltoluene content rate and indene content rate, mainly to be the components of its boiling point ranging from 140°C to 220°C; (2) a phellandorene or a turpentine oil containing a β-phelladorene; and (3) a modified aromatic petroleum resin of weight average molecular weight ranging from 500 to 2,000 secured by copolymerizing phenol compounds by using Friedel-Craft' s catalyst, and (c) a wax.
