Abstract:
To provide a hot-melt ink composition for ink jet printers with pigment dispersion stability.
In a hot-melt ink composition for ink jet which is solid at room temperatures and which is heated to liquefy and sprayed onto a recording medium to form recording dots, the ink composition is adjusted such that it contains a pigment with a pH of 7.0 or less and a carnauba wax or an alcohol-based wax with a hydroxyl value of 20 or more and 150 or less.
