To provide a hot plate which is inexpensive and simple in composition and can heat/cool the treatment surface of a stamper or a processing object uniformly and rapidly as well as accurately control temperature.
The hot plate 30, which interchanges heat with the processing object, has a plurality of fluid passages 31 which are arranged approximately in parallel with a heat interchange surface in relation to the processing object and a plurality of heater holes 32 which are arranged approximately in parallel to the fluid passages 31 at a position away from the heat interchange surface further than the fluid passages 31 and into which electric heaters are inserted. When looked at in the direction approximately perpendicular to the heat interchange surface, the axis in the long shaft direction of the heater hole 32 approximately coincides with the axis in the long shaft direction of the fluid passage 31, and at least one fluid passage 31 is installed between the adjacent heater holes 32.
