To provide a hot plate in which heating is carried out with uniform temperature distribution and static electricity due to a peeling charge between a substrate and the hot plate can be suppressed, to provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device using the hot plate and to provide a device for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device using the hot plate.
The hot plate is used for drying the solvent of the alignment layer applied on the substrate of the liquid crystal display device and the surface thereof is covered by a heat resistant cloth. The method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device using the hot plate and the device for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device using the hot plate are also provided.
