Abstract:
To provide a hot press-formed member having high strength required for all various members requiring high strength such as automotive suspension members and frame reinforcing members, and having excellent press formability and corrosion resistance after coating.
A hot press-formed member has a film on a surface layer. The film has a zinc alloy layer formed on a solid solution layer or in a solid solution layer having a Zn content of ≥15% and an Ni content of <5%, and includes 85 to 70% Zn, in which the total of Ni and Fe is 15 to 30%, and also, the content of Ni is controlled to 3 to 15%.
