Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot press molding die which can easily control a cooling speed of a steel plate without using an expensive tailored blank and a complicated molding die.SOLUTION: A hot press molding die (D) is formed of a first die (1) and a second die (2) arranged so as to face in a relative movable manner, and press-molds a steel plate heated by a first molding surface of the first die and a second molding surface of the second die into a molded product having a desired shape. The first molding surface and the second molding surface have surface patterns (p1 and p2) formed of projections (11 and 21) and recesses (12 and 22) which do not contribute to impart a shape of the molded product. For instance, adjustment of intervals between the facing projections can freely control a cooling speed of the steel plate at the time of molding, and can easily manufacture a molded product having different mechanical characteristics depending on a portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A
