Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot rolled steel material reducing a fracture surface neighboring deformation amount during fracture separation and increasing fittability by increasing convexoconcave of a fracture surface and suppressing crack of the fracture surface, and a steel member.SOLUTION: There is adopted a hot rolled steel material for steel member excellent in fittability of fracture surfaces after fracture separation and having a chemical component containing C:0.35 to 0.45 mass%, Si:1.0 to 1.9 mass%, Mn:0.10 to 0.20 mass%, P:0.010 to 0.035 mass%, S:0.06 to 0.10 mass%, Cr:0.25 mass% or less, V:0.20 to 0.40 mass%, N:0.0060 to 0.0150 mass% and B:0.0050 mass% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
