This equipment is provided with: a high reduction press 10 for highly reducing a slab 1; and/or at least one biderctional drive type roughing mill 12; and at least one bidirectional drive type finishing mill 14 for continuously rolling a rolled stock conveyed from the high reduction press or the bidirectional drive type roughing mill capable of performing a high reduction press or a heavy reduction.
