Title:
HOT SAW-CUT DEBURRING METHOD FOR SHAPE STEEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02218511
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate intermediate service without affecting the activities of following equipments, and thereby enhance a production efficiency by imparting cooling strain to saw-cut burrs through high pressure water injection onto places developing saw-cut burrs, and thereby making burrs easily come off from a shape steel.

CONSTITUTION: The saw-cut of a shape steel 4 is made by a saw blade 6 while the blade is moved from a position A to one B as far as one C, during which, when the saw blade comes down to the position B while saw-cut burrs 7 grow, a timer is actuated. Then, a change-over valve 3 is opened after a definite time has elapsed, the injection of high pressure water 2 is started, and the injection of high pressure water 2 comes to an end when the saw blade 6 comes down to the position C. Saw-cut burrs 7 are apt to easily come off from the shape steel 4 by small force, for example, they come off owing to collisions taking place during carriage over a table roller and the like. High pressure water 2, for example, shall be 0.1 to 0.6 seconds in duration, be 5 to 10kg/cm2 in pressure, be of a long linear beam type in nozzle pattern and be 30 to 40l/min. in volume, and shall be selected out of them in response to the form and dimension of the shape steel.
