Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot scarfer which has suppressed molten-cut disproportionation caused by a change in slot gap formed by an upper block and a lower block.SOLUTION: A hot scarfer comprising a plurality of molten-cuts comprising an upper block 22, a lower block 23 that configures a slot gap 26 working as a molten-cut oxygen gas route by being combined with the upper block, and a shoe 24 arranged closer to the side of a workpiece than to the side of the lower block, is configured to be provided with a gap S of 0.20 mm or more, between the lower block 23 and the shoe 24, over a range from an edge in a width direction of the molten-cut unit to the inside of 30 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
