PURPOSE: To prevent tea from becoming unsavory, or tea leaves from becoming lumpy by moistuer by providing a means whereby the tea leaves stowed in a holding part are preserved in a dried state under a low temperature.
CONSTITUTION: The title device has air-sending mechanisms 35, 36 whereby cooled air is sent into a holding part 31 in which tea leaves are stowed. A refrigerating cycle is started by the drive of a cooling part 32 and fans 35, 36 are operated. By the operation of the fan 35, the air cooled and dried in the cooling part 32 is sent into a holding part 31 through a pipe 33. On the other hand, after the air in the holding part 31 is returned into the cooling part 32 through the fan 36 and a pipe 34, the air is cooled again and dehumidified. After such air-circulation is repeated for a definite time, the drive of the cooling part 32 is stopped. As the result tea leaves 12 in the holding part 31 are preserved in a dried state under a low temperature and is not deteriorated, and a trouble of becoming lumpy because of the moisture contained in them, or the like is prevented.
