Title:
HOT WATER CARBURETOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3671988
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply hot water to a carburetor suitably without using a high cost control valve by branching a branch water passage on the upstream side of an engine, and joining the branched water passages with each other on the downstream side thereof.
SOLUTION: In a hot water carburetor system 1, water in a first branch water passage 4 branched from the upstream side of an engine 3 in a cooling water circulating water passage 2 is fed to an oil cooler 7. First and second branch water passages 4, 6 are joined with each other on the downstream side of a thermostat 10 in the cooling water circulating water passage 2. In the hot water carburetor system 1 constituted in such an above way, the carburetor 5 is heated by cooling water which is cooled by a radiator 9 and which is a comparative low temperature just before feeding to the engine 3, and thereby, it is possible to prevent icing. The thermostat 10 on the main cooling water circulating water passage 2 is closed, and cooling water is circulated through a bypass passage 11. Heat is applied on water in the second branch water passage 6 so as to increase a temperature, and water whose temperature is raised is circulated.
