Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a hot water and cold water combination device which prevents hot/cold water leak between hot water and cold water and influence of a pressure change in hot water and cold water, and is excellent in responsiveness and temperature control function.
CONSTITUTION: A pressure receiving piston 26 is interlocked with a movable valve body unit 46 provided with a hot water side valve body 50 and a cold water side valve body 52, so that force operating on each of the valve bodies is offset by the primary pressure of hot/cold water. The movable valve body unit 46 is positioned according to the temperature of a hot/cold water mixture inside a hot/cold water mixing chamber 36 by an energizing force balance between a temperature sensitive coil spring 54, which is made of a shape memory alloy, and a bias spring 56.
