The hot water supply faucet 3 is arranged in a hot water supply pipe 2 connected to a hot water storage tank 1, and a temperature sensor 4 is arranged in the hot water supply pipe 2 for detecting the temperature of the hot water of the hot water supply pipe 2. The other end of a return pipe 5 having one end connected to the hot water supply pipe 2, is connected to the hot water storage tank 1 in a place between the hot water supply faucet 3 and the temperature sensor 4. A circulating pump 6 is provided for circulating the hot water between the hot water supply pipe 2 and the hot water storage tank 1 by returning the hot water in the hot water supply pipe 2 to the hot water storage tank 1 via the return pipe 5, by operating in response to the detecting temperature of the temperature sensor 4. When the hot water temperature in the hot water supply pipe 2 lowers, its temperature drop is detected by the temperature sensor 4, and the hot water temperature in the hot water supply pipe 2 is held at a predetermined temperature by circulating the hot water between the hot water supply pipe 2 and the hot water storage tank 1 via the return pipe 5 by operating the circulating pump 6.
