PURPOSE: To provide a hot water maker which allows a free position of installation for operational means and in which it is easy to extend the range of option to be selected.

CONSTITUTION: In a hot water maker which is provided with an operational means 6 of a water flow control device to start and stop the operation of the hot water maker, the operational means is installed freely detachably to the main body of the hot water maker. And, the operation means is formed with a plug 3 attached freely detachably to a consent 12 provided at the end of a lead wire 11 of a water flow controller, switch 61 attached to a panel installed freely detachably to the main body case 3, and lead wire 62 which connects the plug and switch. Further, the switch 61 is installed to a skirt shaped panel board 5 which is installed freely detachably to the lower section of the front face of the hot water maker.
