PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wooden joist having a high specific heat from hardly increasing in its temperature as compared with that of other materials and in particular to prevent a temperature distribution at the time of starting from becoming ununiformity.SOLUTION: In a mat main body 1, an upper end 3a and a lower end 3b of a joist 3 are positioned between an upper side 2a and a lower side 2b of the mat main body 1 and in addition to the upper end 3a and the lower end 3b of each of the joists 3, U-turn spaces 5 are formed. Hot water pipe 4 is arranged in zig-zag form so that a going-side 4a where hot water of high temperature flows ascends or descends along one side of each of the joists 3 under utilization of the U-turn space 5 at the upper side 2a, a returning side 4b is arranged in a zig-zag form so as to extend along one side of each of the joists 3 opposite to the going-side 4a under utilization of the U-turn space 5 at the lower side 2b while holding the joist 3 by the going-side 4a and the returning-side 4b. With this arrangement, all the joists 3 receive heat transferred from the high-temperature hot water going-side 4a, area of the joist 3 having a high specific heat is also increased in its temperature in the same manner as that of other areas and so it is possible to set a mean temperature distribution at the mat main body 1.
