Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent small hot water splashes from being mixed in the steam, and to prevent generation of the steam from being stopped by condensed water droplets in a facial appliance which spraying the ionized steam against a human body, etc.
SOLUTION: This hot water splash preventive device 4 comprises an inlet pipe 10 for introducing the steam, a buffer chamber 8 which is connected to the inlet pipe 10 and has the sectional area larger than that of the inlet pipe 10, an opening 13 provided in one side of the buffer chamber 8 for taking out the steam, a condensate pipe 11 provided on a lower portion of the buffer chamber 8 to discharge the condensed water droplets in the buffer chamber 8, and a detecting means 15 for detecting generation of hot water droplets.
