Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water sterilization device capable of adjusting a preheating time at a low cost by starting oscillation of an inverter circuit by a digital signal and by switching the frequency from a frequency for preheating a sterilization lamp to a frequency for lighting it.SOLUTION: A circuit 24 for setting an oscillation frequency is fitted in an inverter circuit 21 to drive a UV lamp 18 for sterilizing hot water. A command signal for driving is output by a microcomputer 20 for the inverter circuit 21 to start oscillation at a frequency for preheating. A signal for starting lighting is then output by the microcomputer 20 for the inverter circuit 21 to switch the oscillation frequency to a frequency for lighting. A driving voltage is thus applied to the UV lamp 18 at the frequency for lighting, and the UV lamp 18 starts lighting after a predetermined preheating time elapses.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
