To provide a hot water storage tank supporting tool constructed with inexpensive components for supporting and fixing a hot water storage tank onto a fixed panel with simple work.

The hot water storage tank supporting tool comprises a recessed cut part 5 formed of a plastic member so as to be cut off a long plate clamp face 2, a bent edge face 4 bent in a L-shape from the clamp face 2 and formed on one long side of the clamp face 2, and a central portion of a long side 2a opposed to the bent edge face 4, and a mounting lug part 9 bent into a L-shape from the clamp face 2 and formed at both ends of the clamp face 2. The recessed cut part 5 has such a depth that its corner portion reaches to a broken curve 3 in a boundary between the bent edge face 4 and the clamp face 2. When bent in the direction of the recessed cut part 5 with a portion (a bent portion 7) of the bent edge face contacting the corner portion as the broken curve, the recessed cut part 5 is shaped to clamp and fix a pipe body at the top of the hot water storage tank.
