Abstract:
To prevent generation of crevice corrosion on a joint portion of an upper cover and a shell plate in a hot water storage tank of a water heater.
A clearance 7 necessary for processing, and a clearance enlargement portion 8 larger than the clearance 7 are formed on the joint portion of the upper cover 1 and the shell plate 2 of the hot water storage tank. A projecting portion 9 is formed on the upper cover 1 at an inner peripheral side of the clearance enlargement portion 8, and a hot water supply pipe 6 is mounted on the projecting portion.
