To provide a hot water supply apparatus which varies a flow rate so as to become a water saving flow rate smaller than a flow rate in usual use, thereby achieving water saving and energy saving while maintaining the usability.
The hot water supply apparatus includes a hot water supply pipe line 40 for supplying a hot water tapping port with hot water, a flow rate adjusting unit 44 provided in the hot water supply pipe line 40 for adjusting a flow rate, and a control unit 23. In the case that the flow rate of the hot water flowing in the hot water supply pipe line 40 is periodically varied by the flow rate adjusting unit 44, when an amplitude of the flow rate to be varied is small, a rate of change of the flow rate is made smaller than that when an amplitude is large. It is possible to provide the hot water supply apparatus which achieves water saving and energy saving while maintaining the usability.
