The hot water supply device 100 comprises: a heat exchanger 3 exchanging heat between refrigerant and water; a tank 1 reserving water; the pump 2 circulating the water and mounting a brushless DC motor thereon; and a control circuit 9 controlling the pump 2, and disposed to the outside of the pump 2. The control circuit 9 performs a magnetic pole position detection sensorless control of the brushless DC motor, and makes it drive in an optimum conduction phase depending on the revolution speed.
