Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a countermeasure against a trouble at an outlet temperature thermistor by a boiling-up prevention device using a thermo-sensitive switch and at that situation, to cause combustion at a burner to be stopped soon only when hot temperature water is abnormally fed out of a heat exchanger.SOLUTION: A controller in this invention starts a timer counting 30 seconds at S5 after detection of a flame at a burner at S3, and determines whether or not an outlet temperature detected by an outlet temperature thermistor is lower than 35°C during a timer counting operation at S6 and S8 and also a tapping temperature detected by a tapping thermistor is lower than 35°C. Upon elapsing of 30 seconds while the detected temperature by any one of both thermistors is kept at lower than 35°C, the controller controls a bypass servo at S9 and increases a bypass rate. With this arrangement, since an amount of water for a heat exchanger is decreased and a temperature at a water feeding pipe is increased, a bimetal switch reaches an operation temperature and a boiling-up prevention device is operated and a combustion at the burner is forcedly stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
