PURPOSE: To enable to obtain high temperature hot water even in the second half of a time zone in use by a structure wherein split heat exchangers are provided in a heat accumulator.
CONSTITUTION: Split heat exchangers 13A, 13B and 13C in a heat accumulator 11 are connected in parallel to one another. When an ON-OFF valve 17A is open and the other ON-OFF valves 17B and 17C are closed, the water from a feed water pipe 15 flows through a branch pipe 15A in the split heat exchanger 13A so that the water receives heat from the neighboring latent heat accumulating material 12 so as to raise its temperature in order to flow out of a hot water delivery pipe 16 as high temperature hot water. When the temperature of the hot water flowing out of the hot water delivery pipe 16 starts to lower as the result that solid heat accumulating material 19 generates in the vicinity of the split heat exchanger 13A with the elapse of period of time, the ON-OFF valve 17A is closed and the ON-OFF valve 17B is open and water is fed in the split heat exchanger 13B. Because the water flowing in the split heat exchanger 13B is raised in its temperature by the heat of the neighboring latent heat accumulating material 12, the high temperature hot water flows again from the hot water delivery pipe 16. When the temperature of the water flowing from the pipe 16 starts to lower with the elapse of time, the ON-OFF valve 17B is closed and the ON-OFF valve 17C is opened and water is fed in the split heat exchanger 13C, resulting in flowing high temperature hot water from the pipe 16.
