Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot air generating device that can remarkably reduce a large amount of moisture contained in blast furnace generating gas (low pressure gas B), thus reducing erosion of a gas duct or an air heating furnace by a sulfur content, reducing the required number of drainage, suppressing performance degradation of a preheating device and reducing the necessity of an auxiliary fuel.SOLUTION: The hot air generating device includes a moisture removal device 18 for removing the moisture contained in a fuel gas 3 for combustion of the air heating furnace 12 before the combustion in the air heating furnace 12. The moisture removal device 18 is composed of a cooling device 18a for indirectly cooling a gas containing the moisture and a cyclone 18b for centrifugally separating a water droplet existing in the gas after indirect cooling.
