PURPOSE: To provide a household Buddhist altar which is constituted so that a sutra desk can be freely taken in/out for the inside of the altar, permits the effective utilization of the inside-room space by being accommodated in the altar when not used, and can be freely taken in/out for the household Buddhist altar, holding an offering on the sutra desk.

CONSTITUTION: A box-shaped household Buddhist altar body 1, base par 2 installed on the underside of the altar 1, sutra desk 3 which is installed so as to be freely taken in/out from the accommodation part (b) of the base part 2, and an opened port part 4 which is formed on the bottom part 6 of the household Buddhist altar body 1 and the upper plate 14 of the base part 2 and ranges from the front side edge to the rear side are provided.
