Abstract:

To provide a house dust mite repelling article which can be applied to living rooms, carpets, bedding, tatami mats, floors, etc., without special care and exhibits a repelling effect on Acaridae, Dermatophagoides farinae, D., Tarsonemus, Cheyletidae, etc., by the volatilization and contact of a house dust mite repelling component.

The house dust mite repelling article is made by impregnating a nonwoven cleaning sheet with a house dust mite repelling component and repels house dust mites by the volatilization and contact of the house dust mite repelling component in the sheet or of the house dust mite repelling component migrated into the contact surface of the sheet during cleaning. Desirably, the article contains a cinnamic acid analogue as the house dust mite repelling component.
