To provide a housing case capable of facilitating attachment to and detachment from a belt and stabilizing a setting state to the belt.

The housing case 10 is provided with a housing body 11 of which the top opens as an opening 11A for getting things into and out of, a cover body 12 adjoining to an opening side of the housing body 11 and a retaining body 13 provided between the cover body 12 and the housing body 11 to keep the opening 11A in a closed state together with the cover body 12. A hanging member 14 is provided on the backing inner side of the cover body 12. The housing case 10 is set to the belt B wrapped around the waist and usually positioning horizontally by the hanging member 14 being hung on the belt B from above.
