Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently house a computer main body, and also house related objects in adjacent place by providing a closed type housing section adjacent to an open type housing section having openings in front and in rear.

CONSTITUTION: A computer main body 2 is housed in an open type housing section OS. In this case, the computer main body 2 is so rested on a shelf board 12 that its front face provided with insertion holes 19 and 20 for an FD and a CDROM are directed to an opening section 21 in the front face of the open type housing section OS. Wirings extended out of the back face of the computer main body 2 are connected to a monitor 3, a power supply and the like through the opening section of the back face section of the open type housing section OS. Furthermore, computer related appliances are housed in a closed type housing section CS. Since the computer main body 2 is housed in the housing furniture 1 for a microcomputer installation capable of housing things under the top board 23 of a desk 22, there is no need for installing the computer main body 2 over the top board 23, thereby the of the top board 23 can be utilized efficiently. Besides, any computer related articles can easily be taken out as required.
