To provide housing structure for an automobile seat for easily housing the seat in a housing recessed part formed in an automobile body, during the nonuse of the seat.
In this housing structure for the automobile seat, the seat 1 comprising a seat cushion 1a and a seat back 1b is put in an overlapped state with the seat back 1b brought down onto the seat face of the seat cushion 1a, and the overlapped seat is reversed by a link member 10 linking the rear part of the seat cushion la with a body floor 20, and contained in the housing recessed part 2 formed in the body floor 20 behind the seat. A recessed stepped part 3 continuous with a front wall 2a of the housing recessed part 2 is formed in the body floor 20, and the other end of the link member 10 connected at one end to the rear part of the seat cushion 1a is connected to the recessed stepped part 3.
