To provide a housing unit adapted to get rid of adhesion to the perimeter thereof even when drying vegetables, fruits and the like with a higher moisture content, a rack having the unit and a drier using the rack.

A housing unit 1 for objects to be dried is constituted of a tray member 2 which has a number of holes 4 formed at a bottom plate part where the objects to be dried are arranged and a guide member 3 which is arranged below the tray member 2 facing it and has an air guide port 8 formed to suck in air. A flange 5 is formed at an end face of an opening formed above the tray member 2 and is caught on rack plate part arranged parallel with a side wall of a rack. A number of the housing units thus obtained are arranged on the rack in a shelf.
