Abstract:
To provide a housing of an on-vehicle apparatus which is simplified in the fixing work of a lid member.SOLUTION: A housing of an on-vehicle apparatus has a cylindrical main body part 11a, an opening part 11b, an accommodation space 11c and an engagement recess 11d, and is formed of a metal material. When setting an axial line which is parallel with an accommodation space extension line, and passes an accommodation space center in an orthogonal cross section of the axial line as a reference axial line, the opening part is formed at a first side a being one side of the accommodation space in the extension direction, and makes the inside and the outside of the cylindrical main body part communicate with each other. The engagement recess has: a housing main body part which is arranged inside the cylindrical main body part, and has a shape which is opened at the inside of the reference axial line P in a radial direction; a lid member which is formed of a resin material, and blocks the opening part; a fixed part 13b fixed to the lid member; and an engagement member 13 which is insertable into the engagement recess, has an engagement protrusion 13a for fixing the lid member to the housing main body part, and is formed of a material having an elasticity modulus which is lower than those of the housing main body part and the lid member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
