Abstract:
PURPOSE: To more stabilize high speed navigation of a SES type hovercraft ship on the wave surface.
CONSTITUTION: In a SES type hovercraft ship 1', a ship is made not to have performance of self restoration against at least one side hull inclination lengthwise and crosswise by only reserve buoyancy of the hull, by reducing the water plane area of a side hull 3' and a planing orthogonal seal 4', and a hull rake force is controlled by rising and falling power of small-sized and powered helm. High efficiency propulsion is made possible, by avoiding hull oscillation at high speed navigation on the wave surface, and by making it not to upset and sink thereby.
