Abstract:
PURPOSE:To dispense with the setup of a special buoyancy tank and a rib as well as to aim at the promotion of lightweightiness in the hull, by setting up a buoyancy tank, combinedly serving as a seat mount and the rib, in a cabin and also installing chairs on this buoyancy tank. CONSTITUTION:A 'Hovercraft(R)' 11 makes headway when a propulsive propeller 20 being installed in the rear of a main structural body 15 is rotated by a propeller engine 19 set up inside a rear engine room 18. And, it is controlled for its forward direction by an aerial rudder 22 being installed in the rear of the main structural body 15. In addition, it is floated by a floating fan 13 installed in the front of a cabin 16 on an overhanging deck 23 of the main structural body 15. At the above-mentioned, plural buoyancy tanks 32 are set up on a floor surface 31 of the cabin 16 at the specified interval in a longitudinal direction of the main structural body 15. And, chairs 33 are set up on each buoyancy tank. At this time, these buoyancy tanks 32 are installed extendedly as far as the broadside of the main structural body 15, giving a function as a rib, thus strength of the main structural boy 15 is improved.
