Abstract:

To provide a chipping-resistant coating suitable for 3WET process.

The chipping-resistant coating which is applied on an uncured cationic electrodeposition coating and, after applied, another coating material is applied thereon, is provided, wherein the chipping resistant coating is characterized by using a urethane resin as a resin component and a solvent having ≤8.7 SP (solubility parameter) value. The chipping-resistant coating characterized by using a hydrazine compound as a curing agent of the urethane resin is provided.
