Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fittings and a method for constructing an auxiliary lock by which floating of the auxiliary lock can be prevented and a handle member can be easily removed.SOLUTION: Fittings comprise a frame body, a sliding screen installed openably and closably inside the frame body, and an auxiliary lock 4 installed in one of the frame body and the sliding screen stile body. The auxiliary lock 4 has a base 41 disposed inside a mounting hole 26h installed in one of the frame body and the stile body, a lock member 40 installed in the base 41 and having a lock part 42 capable of being engaged with the other one of the frame body and the stile body, and an operation handle 80 which can operate the lock part 42. It also has a handle member 60 disposed inside the mounting hole 26h and an attachment 50 disposed between the lock member 40 and the handle member 60. The attachment 50 presses the base 41 in a direction leaving from the handel member 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
