Abstract:
To provide a method of cleaning a tire mold exhibiting excellent cleaning capability.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method of cleaning a mold used for preparing a tire. The method comprises the steps of rolling cleaning rubber 12 with no application of heat; obtaining a strip 14 by cutting the rolled cleaning rubber 12 to a desired width; obtaining a cleaning low cover by winding the strip 14 on the low cover 40; and applying heat and pressure to the cleaning low cover in the mold. In the step of obtaining the cleaning low cover, the strip 14 is preferably wound while inflating the low cover 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
