Abstract:
Method for compensation of register mark differences in the operation of a print machine, especially a sheet offset printer, following interruption to a cleaning process. Accordingly, in a calibration phase, the variation of the register difference after a print interruption is determined over a suitable number of sheets and stored in a memory unit (15) as a register correction valve (Ki). The register correction value is used when a print machine is restarted after an interruption to compensate register mark differences.
