Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a printer (100) comprising a transport device (10) for performing rotary motion, for transporting a substrate (1000).SOLUTION: The method comprises: a step a) for continuously detecting a surface of a transport device (10) by using a detection device (14); a step b) for evaluating a measurement result in an error (1001) existing in the surface; a step c) for storing the error in a data memory (15); and a step d) for outputting information related to the error. By the method, preferably, it is possible to provide information related to an error type, an error position and error frequency purposefully to a machine operator (200) thereby achieving proper error solution. Therefore, productivity of the printer (100) can be enhanced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
