Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authenticity discrimination method for discriminating a printed matter containing a stealth material having such characteristics that even when the stealth material is mixed in a printing ink, changes in a hue of the ink is hardly visually discriminated, from a printed matter that does not contain the above stealth material, the authenticity discrimination method configured in such a manner that when one stealth ink is selected, a printed matter containing the stealth ink is regarded as an authentic printed matter while a printed matter which does not contain the stealth ink can be easily discriminated as a forgery printed matter.SOLUTION: A stealth ink is prepared by adding a stealth material to at least one ink of inks to form a printed matter; and an authenticity discrimination region is printed with the stealth ink, while a region other than the authenticity discrimination region is printed with the one ink. Authenticity is discriminated by discriminating the presence/absence of characteristics possessed by the stealth material in the authenticity discrimination region.SELECTED DRAWING: None
