To establish a total system for organic waste which enables a volume reduction of discharged surplus sludge generated by anaerobic digestion treatment of the organic waste, efficient recovery of methane gas, and effective utilization of phosphorus, which has been contained in the sludge and removed from it.
A treatment method for the organic waste comprises at least an anaerobic digestion process for the anaerobic digestion treatment of the organic waste, an solubilization process for solubilizing at least a part of digested sludge treated in the anaerobic digestion process, a solubilized sludge circulation process for circulating the sludge solubilized in the solubilization process to the anaerobic digestion process, a digested sludge dehydration process for dehydrating the remainder of the digested sludge treated in the anaerobic digestion process, and a crystallization and dephosphorization process for crystallizing and removing phosphorus in the liquid separated in the anaerobic digestion process.
