Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method capable of fixing an optical fiber cable for distortion measurement to a structure in a state of applying elastic expansion distortion uniformly in the longitudinal direction and also capable of maintaining the state for a long period. SOLUTION: An optical fiber cable 2 is touched or brought close to a surface of a structure 1 to be fixed in a state of applying tension to cause desired elastic expansion distortion, a coated layer 8 is formed by coating more than half range of outer edge of the cable 2 with a reaction hardenability resin radical composite formulated with aggregate together with the surface nearby the cable 2, then, the surface is fixed as a supporting face by hardening the composite. The coated layer 8 of the composite formulated with aggregate keeps tack power for a long period and also producing no creep, so that the cable 2 may be fixed to the surface with remaining the state of applying elastic expansion distortion uniformly for a long period.
