Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation method of a thermocouple capable of measuring the temperature in a predetermined temperature measuring position inside of a honeycomb structure.SOLUTION: A fixation method includes a thermocouple arrangement process of arranging one or more of thermocouples 2 in a temperature measuring position 16 of a cell 14 of a columnar honeycomb structure 10, a fastener installing process of installing a fastener 5 in the thermocouples 2 in an external part on the outflow end surface 12 side of the honeycomb structure 10 and a thermocouple fixing wire hooking process of having a thermocouple fixing wire 1 in the cell 14 and hooking a first end bent in a hook shape of its thermocouple fixing wire 1 on an inflow end surface 11 of a partition wall 13, and also includes a thermocouple fixing process of fixing a temperature measuring part 3 of the thermocouples 2 to a temperature measuring position 16 of the honeycomb structure 10 by fixing the thermocouple fixing wire 1 arranged in an external part from an outflow end surface 12 to the fastener 5, simultaneously with the fastener installing process or after the thermocouple fixing wire hooking process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
