In the method for improving the dust collecting efficiency of the dust collector 182, coal ash produced when burning coal used as fuel in another pulverized coal combustion facility 100 different from a pulverized coal combustion facility 1 is added to coal in the pulverized coal combustion facility 1 comprising a pulverized coal combustion part 16 burning coal, and the dust collector 182 provided downstream of the pulverized coal combustion part 16 to collect fly ash out of coal ash.
