To easily install a power storage element unit at an installation position.SOLUTION: An installation method for a power storage element unit includes: a manufacture step of manufacturing a power storage element unit 10 comprising a plurality of power storage element modules 40, a control module 50 for controlling the power storage element modules 40 and a storage box 20A in which the power storage element modules 40 and the control module 50 are stored; an inspection step of inspecting the power storage element unit 10; a carriage step of carrying the power storage element unit 10 while packaging it with a packaging material 80; a disassembly step of removing the power storage element modules 40 and the control module 50 from the storage box 20A; and an assembly step of storing the power storage element modules 40 and the control module 50 in a housing 20B disposed at an installation position 5 and connecting wires 49 of the power storage element modules 40 to a connection section 59 of the control module 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
