Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining at least one of the behavior characteristics, posture characteristics, and geometric form characteristics of a person wearing spectacles.SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of: irradiating the head of a wearer with infrared rays by using infrared light sources 220, 230, and 240; acquiring an image of the head of the wearer by using an infrared image sensor 210; finding reflection from the infrared light sources reflected by the two lenses of the spectacles within the image; and estimating required characteristics as the function of the position of reflection in the image by using an arithmetic unit 250.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
