Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for determining whether test samples contain plant pathogenic fungi or not.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for determining whether a test sample contains a plant pathogenic fungus or not comprising the steps of: (a) placing a test sample on a front surface of a cellulose film; (b) allowing the test sample stand for 4-8 hours; (c) observing the back surface of the film; and (d) when fungal growth is found on the back surface of the film, determining that the test sample contains at least one plant pathogenic fungus selected from Gibberella fujikuroi, Fusarium avenaceum and Glomerella tucumanensis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
