Abstract:
To provide a method for grasping a road crossing direction and a position of an automobile and/or a front obstacle when the automobile travels in a poor visibility state, for example, in a snowstorm or dense fog.SOLUTION: Line laser light 1 is emitted from a laser oscillator 2 installed on an automobile forward and/or to the front ground surface in an automobile traveling direction. For example, the line drawn with the line laser light 1 in a road crossing direction which is emitted to the front ground surface in the automobile traveling direction principally represents a crossing directional shape of a road surface, which helps with grasping the road crossing direction of the automobile.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
